Yang Runze, born on July 17, 2000, in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, is a dynamic Chinese pop-rock singer, multi-instrumentalist and guitarist who has carved a distinctive path in the music industry.
His journey began in 2020 when he gained recognition as a contestant on Tencent Video’s reality competition The Coming One: Super Band. That September marked his professional debut as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Fruit Planet, with whom he quickly made waves in the live music scene. Over the next three years, he captivated audiences at renowned festivals including the Wheat Field Music Festival, Little Strawberry Music Festival, and LPA Independent Music Showcase, while also completing over 30 energetic live house tours across China.
In April 2023, Yang embarked on a new chapter by graduating from the band to pursue a solo career, rebranding himself as an independent artist.
